New Zealand is quite famous for its sheep population that is certainly multiple times bigger than its human population. I recently came across a city in the US called Lawndale in which the amount of living residents is outnumbered by the deceased. This city can be said to have less than 2000 living residents in a land that’s home to over 1. 5 million dead bodies. This fact alone should give you an idea of how eerie every corner of the city and a place it’s must have been turned into a graveyard. This area is not for everybody, but if you are the kind of person who loves the delight and exhilaration of visiting scary areas, take a drive down there when you are in San Diego.

Varosha is a city in Cyprus that has become a ghost town. Unlike its glory days as one of Cyprus’ favorite tourist area, this city is now nicknamed the Ghost City as it has absolutely no inhabitants. After the Turkish invasion of 1974 which drove all residents away from town, it hasn’t been inhabited again. Following the invasion was over, this area remains abandoned but it stands totally frozen just like how it prior to the invasion. When viewed from afar it is not difficult to think actions are bustling within this city simply like it was back in the early 1970s before invasion except that no one lives there anymore. Thinking about walking into this town that is uninhabited only rouses a thrilling feeling that is freakish.
